LUCIA ALIOTTA DECECILIA LUCY
Lucia A. Lucy DeCecilia 88 years old, died Thursday, November 22006 at her home surrounded by her loving family and the care of Hospice Savannah. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Lucy spent most of her life in Savannah. She and her husband Frank were co-founders of Maycrest Hardware. They were charter members of the Savannah Italian Club. Lucy was an active member of St. James Catholic Church, the Council of Catholic Women, Elks Club, Mayfair Garden Club and “The Best of Friends”. Though she had no children of her own, Lucy was blessed with many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly and whom she loved as her own. She will be missed by her “candy kids” from Maycrest Hardware.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 5, 2006 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church with a Rosary Service at 7 p.m...
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 6, 2006 at St. James Catholic Church.
Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will be Anthony F. Aliotta, Frank D. Aliotta, Antonino F. Aliotta, Robert J. Erb, Jr., Brett ORand and Matthew A. ORand.
